Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Repair Technician to join our in-house shop. You will own the repair process from teardown through final bench tests, rebuilding pumps, cylinders, and related components to OEM specifications.

Expect meticulous documentation of findings and parts used, with strong emphasis on quality and safety. The role requires 5+ years in hydraulic repair, ability to read schematics, and hands-on use of precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hydraulic repair experience.
• Background in industrial hydraulics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and typical shop equipment.
• Self-directed work style with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to quality.

Responsibilities

• Root-cause analysis through teardown, inspection, measurement and testing.
• Rebuild hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, motors, gearboxes to OEM specs.
• Precisely replace seals, bearings, shafts and wear items while maintaining tolerances.
• Interpret exploded views and OEM manuals during repair.
• Bench test and verify performance against specs; document results.
• Own repairs from intake to final test in a safe, organized bench area.

About the RoleStep into a dedicated hydraulic repair shop where your bench skills take center stage. From the moment a pump or cylinder lands on your bench, you own the process: methodical teardown, precise failure analysis, meticulous rebuild, and final performance testing to OEM standards. This role is exclusively focused on component-level repair and testing—no preventive maintenance, no facilities work, and no servicing of production equipment.A Day in the ShopYour morning might begin with a piston pump exhibiting pressure loss. You’ll disassemble, clean, and measure critical surfaces; identify worn bearings and shaft wear; interpret exploded views and OEM manuals; replace seals and hard parts; and reassemble to tight tolerances. After that, you’ll bench test, verify against spec, and document the repair findings, parts used, and results before releasing the unit.
