Job description

Hydraquip is seeking a Lead Inside Sales Representative North to play a key leadership role within our inside sales team, focusing on customer satisfaction, sales growth, and operational efficiency. This position reports to the Operations Manager and covers North Texas, Colorado, and Oklahoma.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Serving as the primary inside sales/customer service contact, supporting other sales personnel, and reporting issues to management.
  2. Managing major accounts and supporting inside sales across branches to ensure consistent customer service.
  3. Driving efficiencies in quoting, order entry, and inventory management.
  4. Collaborating with purchasing to facilitate production and order processing.
  5. Leading and mentoring the inside sales team to maintain high performance.
  6. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  7. Enhancing lead tracking via Hubspot, and monitoring customer service scores.
  8. Managing open orders, assisting with allocations, expediting, and shipments.
  9. Organizing customer visits with Account Managers and maintaining vendor contacts.
  10. Overseeing quoting, order updates, and issue resolution processes.
  11. Reviewing customer satisfaction and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  12. Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements include:

  • High school diploma or GED; technical degree or certifications preferred.
  • 2-5 years in inside sales, customer service, or technical fields.
  • Experience in hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, or automotive repair is a plus.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic/hydrostatic components and mechanical functions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational skills, and customer focus.
