Job summary

Matheson Nippon Sanso HYCO seeks an experienced HyCO Production and Low-Carbon Technology Engineer to identify and advance technology for CO2 recovery, decarbonization, and syngas processes. You will develop commercialization plans, support techno-economic assessments, and collaborate across HYCO functions to enable technology deployment.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial gas processes, strong modeling/tool skills (UniSim, HYSYS, Aspen Plus), and ability to draft funding proposals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in chemical engineering or related field; electrochemistry experience is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in industrial gas processes with direct engineering experience.
• Experience evaluating technologies and defining market needs.
• Ability to draft funding applications and technical proposals.

Responsibilities

• Identify technologies for HYCO, including CO2 recovery and utilization.
• Develop development and commercialization plans with staged assessments.
• Support techno-economic analyses for decarbonization projects.
• Collaborate with HYCO business, engineering, and operations teams.
• Develop process engineering inputs for business cases and funding proposals.
