Job summary

Air Products is hiring a HyCO Plant Process Engineer in Martinez, CA. You will provide process engineering support for two hydrogen plants, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues to keep plants safe and efficient.

Occasional support for other HyCO facilities in the US and Canada is possible. The role requires a BS in Chemical Engineering and 3–5 years of experience, with Aspen Plus and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering strongly preferred; other disciplines will be considered based on experience.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience; operations support and troubleshooting are beneficial.
• Experience with large-scale hydrogen/syn-gas production or high-temperature process facilities is desired.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for Plant Process Engineering support of two large hydrogen plants.
• Monitor performance (efficiency, reliability) and troubleshoot operating issues.
• Support plant safety, MOC procedures, and environmental compliance.
