Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 1–3 years of California workers' compensation defense experience.
• Strong writing, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of California workers' compensation defense matters.
• Represent employers, carriers, and third-party administrators in the litigation process.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and WCAB conferences.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and other case-related documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and provide client updates and legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff for efficient case management.
