• California jurisdictional knowledge is required;
• SIP licensing is required or must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Four years of California Workers’ Compensation claims management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages workers compensation claims determining compensability and benefits due on long term indemnity claims.
• Develops action plans to resolution and coordinates return-to-work efforts.
• Approves and processes assigned claims and negotiates settlements.
• Manages subrogation of claims and communications with claimants and clients.
• Maintains proper documentation and claims coding.
