Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative Web Designer to join our digital team in a hybrid setup in East London. You will craft visually compelling, responsive websites that reinforce brand identity and drive user engagement.

You will collaborate with developers and marketing to translate requirements into polished visuals, maintain current web designs, and stay ahead of design trends while delivering strong portfolios and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in web design with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Experience with responsive design principles and mobile‑first design.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Design visually appealing and user-friendly websites that are responsive across devices.
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new web pages and features.
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
Maintain and update existing website designs to improve user experience and aesthetics.
Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
Stay current with web design trends and emerging technologies.
