Job summary
Jacobs is seeking a Wastewater Engineer to provide planning, consulting, and design services for municipal, federal, and industrial clients in water and wastewater treatment. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, client engagement, and developing treatment strategies during planning and design phases.
The position requires advanced degrees in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering with emphasis on water treatment, plus experience in modelling, process design, and pilot
Qualifications
- Master degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering with emphasis in water and wastewater treatment and 3 years of experience.
- In lieu of above, Bachelor degree with 5 years of experience in wastewater engineering or related field.
- Expertise in water and wastewater treatment processes and modelling tools and hydraulic design.
Responsibilities
- Provide planning, consulting, design, and construction-phase services for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and support business development for new projects.
- Develop control strategies and narratives for treatment processes and equipment operation.
- Prepare designs, calculations, drawings, specifications and participate in pilot testing and project deliverables.
