Job summary

Impact Recruitment partnered with a well-established civil engineering firm in Cary, NC to hire a Professional Engineer for a Project Manager role within the Utilities (Water/Wastewater) practice. This is a Hybrid position with focus on hydraulic modeling and client-facing leadership.

The successful candidate will develop and calibrate hydraulic models, lead teams, and deliver data-driven solutions to enhance system performance and resiliency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Licensed Professional Engineer licensure required.
7+ years of engineering experience with team management.
Strong leadership and budgeting/forecasting knowledge.
Ability to communicate complex concepts to clients.
Experience with hydraulic modeling and related software.

Responsibilities

Develop, calibrate, and analyze hydraulic models for water and wastewater systems.
Lead project teams and manage tasks across multiple projects.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies.
Support master plans, CIP, and regulatory compliance projects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate model data.
Assist in proposals, scopes, budgets, and client coordination.
