Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service in New Windsor, NY, is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Installer Apprentice. This full-time, Monday–Friday role blends warehouse duties with field installation tasks, starting each day in the warehouse to prep trucks and materials for the installers and technicians.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and capable of working in a hands-on environment. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow in garage door installation and customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn installation skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Warehouse, construction, delivery, or garage door experience is a plus, but not required.
• Willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and motivation to grow.
• Must be willing to travel throughout the NJ area to support different locations and job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations and maintain organization.
• Receive, organize, and track incoming inventory and materials.
• Stock installer trucks with parts, tools, and job materials each morning.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report shortages.
• Keep warehouse clean, safe, and operational at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading products and deliveries.
• Support technicians and installers with job preparation.
• Ensure materials and equipment are ready for daily operations.
• Help maintain company standards for efficiency and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Install garage doors and related components to company standards.
• Provide high-quality workmanship and customer service during installations.
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
