Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate / Installer Apprentice for a full-time, in-person role. The position blends warehouse tasks with field installation support, offering steady hours and opportunities to learn installation skills.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable with physical work. Travel to NJ locations may be required to support different job sites as needed, with room for performance-based earnings growth.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn installation skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Warehouse, construction, delivery, or garage door experience is a plus, but not required.
• Willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and motivation to grow.
• Must be willing to travel throughout the NJ area to support different locations and job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations and maintain organization
• Receive, organize, and track incoming inventory and materials
• Stock installer trucks with parts, tools, and job materials each morning
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report shortages
• Keep warehouse clean, safe, and operational at all times
• Assist with loading and unloading products and deliveries
• Support technicians and installers with job preparation
• Ensure materials and equipment are ready for daily operations
• Help maintain company standards for efficiency and safety
• Other duties as assigned
• Support the installation of garage doors and related components according to company standards
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Provide excellent customer service during installations
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Maintain professionalism while representing the company in customers’ homes
• Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding job progress
• Other duties as assigned
