Qualifications

• Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field with emphasis on rehabilitation and employment outcomes.
• Must submit an education plan and enroll in specified courses within the stated timeframes or obtain CRCC eligibility.
• Active CRCC Certification from the CRCC is acceptable or can be pursued within the required period.

Responsibilities

• Collects customer's medical and psychological information to determine eligibility for services.
• Monitors local labor market trends to facilitate job placement and maximize outcomes.
• Conducts assessments of skills, abilities, and goals to identify suitable employment opportunities.
• Uses counseling to interpret medical, psychological, and vocational information for customers.
• Collaborates with customers to develop personalized rehabilitation and employment plans.
• Arranges appointments, trainings, and assessments to facilitate participation in programs.
• Requests authorizations for services and ensures vendors are paid.
• Educates employers and the public about rehabilitation services and opportunities.
