Upgrade Resources in Dallas, TX is seeking a Virtual Designer to layout and produce electrical shop drawings using CAD/Revit. You will build 3D models from field layouts and support BIM coordination with senior VDC staff to ensure install-ready systems aligned with schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CAD experience in commercial electrical construction.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and BIM coordination.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.
• Hybrid work flexibility.
• Knowledge of NEC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build 3D models from field layouts in Revit and Navisworks.
• Perform BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Upload models and coordinate with GC-led process.
• Mentor detailers in producing shop drawings.
• Develop and maintain Revit templates and standards.
• Produce bills of materials for procurement and labor.
• Meet aggressive project schedules with accuracy.
