Part-Time | Contract (1099) | $16–$18/hr

~5–10 hours/week to start | Evenings required 1x/month

About the Role

I'm a local financial advisor helping pre-retirees and retirees make confident decisions about their financial future. As my business grows, I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented assistant to help with both remote admin tasks and on-site support for client events.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in both virtual and people-facing roles—and who’s excited to grow with a small, mission-driven business.

What You’ll Do
Virtual Administrative Tasks
  • Confirm and reschedule client appointments
  • Support new business applications via Zoom
  • Schedule medical exams and track pending paperwork
  • Follow up on outstanding client requirements
  • Manage CRM updates and send confirmations
Event Support (2–4x/month)
  • Call and confirm workshop attendees in advance
  • Coordinate with the venue on food and room setup
  • Arrive early to help set up and check in guests
  • Cue venue for meal service and assist during the seminar
  • Collect client forms and schedule follow-up appointments
  • Log appointments and send confirmations post-event
What You Bring
  • You're based in Charlotte, NC
  • You’re available for evening events a few times each month
  • You’re a clear communicator (phone, Zoom, and in-person)
  • You’re comfortable using tools like Google Calendar, Zoom, CRM systems
  • You’re organized, adaptable, and pleasant under pressure
  • You enjoy being part of something meaningful—even if it’s just getting started
