Job summary

Ameritas is seeking a Videography Intern to help tell stories and deliver information to internal and external audiences about customers, associates, and products. The internship starts May 2027 and is a hybrid role with in-office and remote work.

You will assist in producing video and audio materials, collaborate with teams on ideation and storyboarding, and manage recording, editing, and asset archiving. Portfolio submissions are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college program, at least part-time, for the entire internship.
• Commit to a 12-month internship – full-time during the summer and part-time during the academic year.
• FT includes 30-40 hours a week; PT includes 10-20 hours a week.
• Experience using and handling video and photographic equipment.
• Experience using video and animation software, such as the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition) or similar software.
• Ability to learn and use technology, including video recording equipment and software.
• Cooperation and collaboration with team members and project managers; receptive to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing high-quality video and audio materials including live action videos, animations, and photography.
• Collaborate with video, creative, and marketing teams on vision, ideation, and storyboarding.
• Record projects using camera, audio, lighting, and studio equipment.
• Edit video materials and create animations to produce finished content.
• Archive and audit video assets for organization and efficiency.
