Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with iterative design processes and design deliverables.
• Some experience or coursework in conducting user research and usability testing.
• Ability to analyze research data and identify actionable insights.
• Basic understanding of information architecture and web accessibility.
• Comfort with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Mural, Teams, or Slack.
• A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to manage workload and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Work with the GSS UX Design and Research team to conceptualize and develop solutions to user problems.
• Support the creation of design deliverables and documentation to gather feedback from stakeholders and users.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand feasibility and assist in design hand-offs.
• Collaborate with design ops to evolve UI components supporting design-to-code workflows using tools like Figma, Claude, and GitHub.
• Assist in planning and executing research activities such as interviews, usability tests, heuristic evaluations, and card sorting.
• Join weekly design and research review meetings to share work and receive feedback.
• Engage with designers, researchers, and customer success teams to stay informed on user needs.
• Attend bimonthly UX team demos to learn and contribute.
