Job summary
Pattern is seeking a UX Design Intern for Summer 2027 in Lehi, Utah. You will work on product design projects across our ecommerce products, helping scale features and user experiences for diverse user types.
The role is full-time for roughly 12 weeks with a hybrid schedule, offering hands-on experience across research, wireframing, and interaction design as part of Pattern’s UX team.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a design degree with a strong portfolio.
- Experience using Figma or similar tools for web/mobile design projects.
- Experience with video editing software is preferred.
- Experience with user testing software is required or highly valued.
- Prior UX internship experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Research our users with a passion for how they think and work.
- Gain expert understanding of worldwide ecommerce marketplaces.
- Stay informed on the competitive space.
- Assemble wireframes using our pre-designed interface patterns.
- Design innovative user interactions for core business workflows.
- Tell the story with outstanding spoken and written communication.
- Define, document, and present software requirements.
- Collaborate with our product and development teams.
- Conduct user testing.
- Ensure quality of the product UX.
- Continually learn about new UX concepts and share with the UX team.
