The role oversees audits, drives improvements, and partners with Compliance, Underwriting, Training, Legal, and Executive Leadership.

The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years in underwriting/QA, strong leadership, and a track record of presenting results to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• 7–10 years of underwriting, underwriting compliance, QA, auditing or related insurance experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's underwriting audit program.
• Develop annual audit plans and methodologies.
• Ensure audits follow standards and procedures.
• Monitor productivity, completion rates, and reporting timelines.
• Assess compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Develop executive reports and present findings to leadership.
• Lead corrective action and process-improvement initiatives.
• Mentor audit staff and drive professional development.
