The position involves data analysis, collaboration with Underwriting management, and developing training programs to improve guidelines and processes.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years’ underwriting experience with a commercial insurance carrier.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations regarding insurance.
• Ability to gather and interpret information to develop, recommend and implement solutions.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Conduct audits on new and renewal property and casualty policies.
• Assess risk selection adherence to underwriting guidelines, rating accuracy, data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Compile and distribute audit results and review with Underwriting management.
• Analyze data to identify causal factors and develop action plans for the business unit.
• Collaborate with Underwriting management to implement recommendations and update guidelines or processes.
• Develop training materials and conduct training.
