Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Economics; equivalent work experience considered
• 1–3+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, actuarial services, accounting, pricing & underwriting preferred
• Pharmacy, PBM, or Health Plan experience preferred
• Knowledge of risk management, statistics, financial modeling
• Experience manipulating large data sets and interpreting historical claims data
• Proficient in Excel and data visualization tools
• Experience in SQL, SAS, or R
• Ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Extremely flexible, highly organized, able to shift priorities
• Attention to detail & commitment to high quality work product

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day pricing and underwriting activities for new and renewal business opportunities under the guidance of senior team members
• Partner with the Underwriting Team and cross-functional groups to maintain and enhance underwriting processes, financial models, and reporting procedures
• Assist senior underwriters with the development and execution of pricing strategies
• Contribute to underwriting presentations by preparing materials and supporting documentation, including identifying potential risks for review
• Gather, review, and organize external data to support underwriting analysis and decision-making
• Assist in the analysis and development of pricing models for new and existing products
• Manage assigned tasks across multiple projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
• Support ongoing maintenance and enhancements of underwriting and financial reporting systems
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfill financial analytics and reporting needs
• Provide general analytical and operational support to meet broader business needs
• Adhere to the Judi Health Code of Conduct including reporting any identified noncompliance
