Job summary

AlixPartners is seeking an MBA Intern for Turnaround & Restructuring in Summer 2027. The internship offers exposure to engagement teams, financial and operational analysis, and client-ready deliverables. You will work across high-stakes scenarios, supported by training, shadowing, and cross-office collaboration.

You’ll analyze performance, build financial models, and contribute to strategic recommendations while developing professional skills in a hybrid, travel-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building and analyzing financial models (DCF, LBO, cash flow forecasts).
• CPA/CFA/CMA or equivalent credentials strongly preferred.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools to enhance analysis and insight.
• Advanced Excel capabilities for data analysis and modeling.
• Exposure to SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze corporate performance and profitability opportunities in high-stakes client situations.
• Develop recommendations and present analyses with clear logic and strategy.
• Gather data through research and client interviews to support recommendations.
• Prepare client-ready presentations and supporting materials.
