Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a full-stack engineer for hybrid work in Rockville, MD. The role focuses on enterprise fintech web apps using Node.js, TypeScript, Angular, and Python, with AWS cloud and CI/CD practices.

You'll design, build, test, and deploy scalable solutions, applying Agile methods and modern testing. W2 and corp-to-corp options are available; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Node.js, TS, JS, and Python.
• Enterprise-grade, secure, scalable development experience.
• Hands-on Agile, planning, dev, test, release.
• Playwright for E2E tests, integration/performance testing.
• AWS: messaging, serverless, APIs, storage, containers.
• OpenSearch experience is a plus; AWS certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production-grade apps and services.
• Deliver within Agile cycles; iterative delivery.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD, config mgmt.
• Develop end-to-end tests with Playwright/TS.
• Build Angular apps (Angular 16+, RxJS, Formly).
• Design event-driven AWS architectures (SQS/SNS, Lambda).
• Use ECS for containers; integrate OpenSearch.
• Automate build/release with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
