Texas A&M Transportation Institute in San Antonio seeks an Assistant Transportation Researcher to support transportation planning, policy research, literature reviews, surveys, and data analysis under general supervision. You will help with proposals, data collection, report preparation, and presentations; requires a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Public Services and Administration or equivalent.
• Strong written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop, execute, and analyze online surveys and conduct interviews.

Responsabilités

• Supports PIs with research studies, including data collection and GIS analyses, literature reviews, and related activities.
• Organizes, archives data sets, data models, and metadata.
• Prepares written reports, technical memoranda, survey findings, and other correspondence.
• Develops and delivers presentations.
• Assists with preparing proposals.
• Interacts with sponsors and potential clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
