Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Engineer in Training Certification Preferred.
• Experience with Synchro, SimTraffic, Excel, AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Attention to detail in complex projects.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with Delaware traffic studies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trip generation estimates, roadway volume and parking analyses.
• Assist in analyzing field data, maps, drawings, reports to plan projects.
• Obtain and interpret demographic and regional planning data.
• Use planning software to prepare documents.
• Assist in preparing planning documents including traffic studies.
• Collect field data as needed.
• Serve as onsite project representative.
• Use planning software to prepare engineering and planning documents.
