Job summary

Toole Design, Inc. seeks a Transportation Project Engineer I or II in Cleveland, OH to lead impactful roadway and active transportation projects that reflect our mission and values.

You will work on multidisciplinary teams, deliver designs using MicroStation/AutoCAD, and manage tasks from concept through construction with a focus on safety and accessibility. Qualified candidates have a civil engineering degree and a PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months) with 6+ years (8+ for Project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 6+ years of experience developing roadway/highway construction documents (8+ for Project Engineer II).
• Experience with signing and pavement marking and MUTCD standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multimodal transportation infrastructure within urban, suburban, and rural settings.
• Develop construction documents and bid packages; assist permitting and construction management.
• Manage project tasks from concept to design review and construction.
• Coordinate with team to ensure high-quality outputs.
