Responsibilities

• Provides timely and accurate engineering analysis, contingency analysis and clearance support, operating procedures and instructions, power flow studies, and other technical support concerning operation of the electric system.
• Works with limited supervision and guidance, both independently and as part of a team.
• Applies engineering principles to determine cost effective and practical solutions.
• Guides compliance with industry standards (NERC, WECC) to operations personnel and may develop programs.
• Investigates technical issues with defined methods, progress, and resources.
• Assists other engineers and project teams by providing technical data.
• Prioritizes, plans, and recommends solutions.
• May provide technical training to operations personnel.
• Participates in post-event analysis as needed.
