Job summary

AECOM Transportation is seeking Traffic Engineers and Designers to support our Southeast US team in a hybrid role. You will contribute to planning, designing and managing transportation projects, including roadways, traffic signals and pavement markings.

The work spans large design/build and alternative delivery assignments that shape cities and communities. Ideal candidates bring a BS in Engineering with 2–10 years of related experience, plus knowledge of MicroStation/Open Roads, traffic signal

Qualifications

BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience required for CAD Designers.
BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or equivalency for Junior Level Engineers.
BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or equivalency for Mid-Level Engineers.
BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or equivalency for Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads.
EIT Certification or PE License preferred.
State DOT experience preferred.
Knowledge of AASHTO Green Book and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices preferred.

Responsibilities

Work on traffic engineering projects including signing, pavement markings, and traffic signal design.
Collaborate on large highway design/Build or alternative delivery projects.
Assist with design using Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads.
