C.A. Carlin is hiring a Trade Planner in Schaumburg, IL. The role bridges the Sales Team and client Trade Finance teams to ensure promotions are entered accurately and timely. You will develop procedures, manage multiple clients, and maintain a high level of organization.

The position emphasizes relationship building, data accuracy, and the ability to learn new systems quickly, with a hybrid schedule and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication with clients.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong data entry and analytical skills focused on accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Acrobat preferred.
• Previous trade planning experience is preferred.
• Previous CPG industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Positive, resourceful, solutions-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with clients and communicate with client contacts by phone and email.
• Learn and navigate trade management and deduction systems to enter promotional plans for clients.
• Help develop and maintain procedures, processes, and timelines for trade planning.
• Review customer deductions for accuracy and assess validity.
• Stay organized while managing multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities.
• Work independently while collaborating with the Sales Team and internal partners.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support process improvements.
