Job summary

Quarto Publishing Group USA in New York is hiring an Associate National Account Manager, Trade to drive book sales with major retailers like Books-A-Million and Barnes & Noble. You will partner with sales, marketing, publishing and demand planning to develop account strategies and promote titles nationwide.

This role reports to the Director of Trade Sales. It is hybrid from the NYC office and requires data-driven decision making, strong relationship skills, and a passion for publishing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or account management experience.
• Strong negotiation and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, pivot tables, and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Experience with sales tracking and forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage Books-A-Million and Barnes & Noble accounts, developing growth plans.
• Collaborate with marketing, publishing, and demand planning teams.
• Analyze POS data and market trends to optimize assortment.
• Prepare regular performance reports for management.
