Job summary

Visium Resources is identifying candidates for a Title Examiner position to work onsite in Orlando, FL, for up to two years with a high renewal probability. A hybrid option may be available after training, and direct hire conversion is possible during the contract period.

The Title Examiner will perform advanced title work, conduct in-depth searches, identify and resolve title issues, and coordinate closings, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements throughout the acquisition process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business or Public Administration with 5 years of title research experience.
• Ability to plot and evaluate the accuracy of legal descriptions and chain of title.
• Experience researching information from multiple sources (Public Records, Tax Collector, Clerk of the Court).
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced title examinations and curative title work for County acquisitions.
• Conduct in-depth historical title searches and resolve title issues.
• Review and prepare conveyance documents and coordinate closings.
• Ensure compliance with county and legal requirements throughout the acquisition process.
• Coordinate closings with title companies and attorneys; arrange title insurance for projects.
• Track and manage title projects using the division's tracking system.
