Job summary

ActiveSoft, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Tier 2 SOC Analyst (Mid-Level / Senior) for a hybrid contract role. Two days onsite per week are preferred, with remote consideration for exceptional candidates.

The candidate will join a transforming SOC, support day-to-day operations, and contribute to strategic defense initiatives. Ideal candidates have 3–7+ years in SOC, strong SIEM and incident response skills, and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of hands-on SOC experience with security monitoring and incident response.
• Experience in Level 2 or Level 3 SOC roles.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and enterprise security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced triage and analysis of security incidents and alerts.
• Collaborate with Level 3 Cyber Defense engineers to improve detection, response, and recovery capabilities.
• Provide consulting support during the SOC transformation.
• Help drive improvements in incident response workflows, playbooks, and tools.
• Participate in threat hunting, vulnerability management, and other proactive defense activities.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to share insights and support cross-functional security efforts.
