Job summary

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) is seeking a Ticketing Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day ticketing, data, and box office functions at Heinz Hall in downtown Pittsburgh. The role collaborates with Marketing, IT, and Guest Experience to ensure accurate, efficient ticketing and data support for stakeholders.

Responsibilities span event creation, inventory management, reporting, and cross-department coordination, with a hybrid in-person/remote work arrangement and a competitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least two years of experience in ticketing operations or performing arts administration.
• Proficiency in Tessitura, ticket building, reporting, and inventory management.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
• Ability to interpret data and build sales reports with actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills for collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with promoters, presenters, and internal departments on back-end ticketing support, pricing, holds, and inventory management.
• Develop, implement, and update policies to promote operational consistency and guest service quality across venues.
• Support venue box office operations and troubleshoot ticketing issues.
• Balance day-to-day scheduling of ticket sales with input from presenters.
• Develop and maintain ticket sales tracking tools and dashboards for monitoring performance.
