Solomon Page is partnering with a top womens apparel company in NYC to identify an experienced Fabric QA professional. The role involves working with knits and wovens, overseeing R&D and pre-production testing, and coordinating with designers, mills, and vendors.

The position is 4 days onsite and 1 day remote at their Midtown office, with hourly pay ranging from $45 to $50 based on experience. Freelance-ongoing and full-time alignment will depend on project needs.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated knowledge of woven and knit fabric construction and garment washing techniques.
• 5+ years of QA experience in apparel/textiles.
• Experience with printing and engraving for strike off and bulk fabric approvals.
• Strong eye for color matching across collections and lab dips.

Responsabilidades

• Execute all phases of Fabric and Trim R&D/Sourcing, lab dips, and bulk approvals.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal QC to resolve quality and test issues.
• Maintain fabric quality library for R&D and bulk approvals.
• Work daily with design, product teams, and suppliers.
• Generate and maintain fabric comments, adoption records, and fabric detail forms.
