Job summary

NCCI is seeking a Test Auditor to join the inspections team in the Western U.S. The role conducts test audits to verify insurer classifications, premium calculations, and premium audit results, ensuring regulatory requirements and accuracy.

This is a hybrid, home-based position within the United States with travel up to 30% and territory aligned for regional coverage. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of related experience, 3+ years in workers’ compensation, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of related work experience.
• 3+ years of workers’ compensation insurance experience.
• Experience with field premium audits and classification inspections.
• Knowledge of Basic Manual, Scopes Manual, and Classification system.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize test audit assignments and schedules; coordinate with insured.
• Conduct pre-audit research to determine scope and review records.
• Coordinate with insured and external contacts to facilitate audits.
• Prepare audit communications and update audit information.
