Job summary

The MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications for term lecturer faculty positions across a variety of programs, including Audiology, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Genetic Counseling, Health & Rehabilitation Sciences, Health Professions Education, Healthcare Administration & Data Analytics, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Physician Assistant Studies.

Term Lecturers are appointed on a semester‑by‑semester basis, typically teaching 3–9 credits per semester

Qualifications

Advanced or terminal degree in a relevant field.
Clinical experience in applicable programs.
Active professional license where licensure is required.
Commitment to graduate student success and diversity/inclusion in the academic environment.
Ability to work independently and engage with diverse stakeholders including students, faculty, administration, staff, patients, and external partners.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with area of expertise and program needs.
Develop and manage online course content using Desire to Learn (D2L) where applicable.
Publish and maintain the course syllabus.
Oversee course management and content delivery.
Conduct assessments and assign grades for student performance.
Provide student mentoring and academic support, including office hours.
