Our client, an ACO, located on the near west side of Chicago, is seeking a Physician Credentialing Specialist to hire on a temp-to-hire, full-time basis. This position is a hybrid position with Tu, Wed & Th in office and M, F at home. The Credentialing Specialist is part of a three-person team that is involved with credentialing a total of 500 physicians.

Duties:

1. Perform full cycle of credentialing for physicians for Medicaid (Impact), Medicare (CMS), and Commercial Health Plans.
2. Work with health plans to report the required credentialing information.

Position Requirements:

1. Minimum of an Associate’s degree.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in credentialing physicians.
3. Accustomed to using credentialing software like CAQH ProView Software.
4. Knowledge of how to submit credentialing information to health plans and payers.
5. Knowledge of health care industry, health plan, NCQA, MSO, CMS, Federal regulations.
6. Proficient in computer skills: MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
