COVETIT INC. is seeking a skilled Technical Copywriter with a focus on the Energy & Utilities sector to translate complex grid modernization and safety initiatives into clear customer communications.

Collaboration with SMEs, legal, and product teams in San Ramon will ensure accurate, regulatory-compliant messaging while preserving an authoritative yet helpful PG&E voice. The role covers content development for multiple channels, from customer notices to educational brochures, and requires

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of CA energy markets, utility billing, and grid infrastructure.
• Proven ability to write for B2C and B2B audiences with a focus on plain language standards.
• Familiarity with CPUC guidelines and the legal sensitivities of the utility industry.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Responsabilités

• Content Development: Write clear, persuasive copy for emails, notices, web pages, and brochures.
• Technical Translation: Simplify utility terms into accessible language for consumers and businesses.
• Regulatory Alignment: Ensure copy meets legal and regulatory requirements with empathy and transparency.
• Collaboration: Work with SMEs, legal teams, and product managers to ensure accuracy.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain the PG&E voice across renewable energy and safety topics.
