Job summary

CNA’s Tech Summer Internship Program offers a 10–12 week training experience across Application Development and Dev Ops, with Agile methodologies and tools. Interns work with experienced developers, learn SAFe, and apply TDD in real projects, with mentorship and potential full-time placement after graduation.

The program is based at CNA's Chicago headquarters with a hybrid model alternating office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Must be a sophomore, junior or senior (undergraduate) or in first year of Masters program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (overall and major) and coursework in OOP, Java, data structures, web development, SQL.
• Interest in the Insurance industry; ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication skills.
