Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services seeks a senior technical leader for digital engineering engagements. You will advise clients on modern technology solutions, architect and implement cloud and full stack capabilities, and mentor distributed development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The role requires deep experience across Java/.NET/Go, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and modern DevOps pipelines, working in a client-facing, team-led, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field plus 4+ years of progressive experience.
• 4 years in full software development lifecycle with hands-on coding of enterprise systems.
• 4 years in all of the following: development with Java/.NET/Go, command-line tooling, and cloud/local system configuration and management.
• 4 years in Agile software development (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar).
• 4 years leading software development planning workshops and client-facing presentations.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on modern technology solutions for Digital and Cloud deployments from inception to launch.
• Provide technical implementation leadership for full stack solutions (front-end and back-end).
• Lead architecture discussions focusing on security, reliability, and scalability.
• Drive end-to-end agile software delivery including sprint planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage project budgets and timelines; mentor developers across distributed teams.
