Job summary

CohnReznick is hiring a Tax Senior Manager to join our Houston, TX team. The role leads engagement delivery, partners with senior tax leaders on planning, and manages a mixed U.S./India staff. Hybrid work is encouraged to balance collaboration and flexibility.

Qualified candidates have 7+ years in a national or Big 4 firm, a Bachelor’s degree (Master/JD preferred), CPA or bar, and strong Excel modeling, tax research, and communication skills. We value diversity and client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience in a National or Big 4 public accounting firm or related industry experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master of Taxation or JD preferred.
• Active CPA license or passing of bar examination required.
• Strong tax research and writing skills; Excel modeling experience.
• Experience with tax software ProSystem FX or Go System Tax.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement on specific client accounts from planning to final deliverables.
• Assist senior tax leadership with partnership tax planning and allocations.
• Document significant partnership transactions and assist with documentation.
• Identify opportunities to expand engagement scope through client needs and proactive tax planning.
• Manage a U.S. and India based staff team with coaching and feedback.
