Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a Tax Senior Manager in Virginia Beach to lead tax compliance and advisory services for middle-market clients. You will review complex returns for individuals, partnerships, and entities and mentor teams while maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate holds an active CPA license, has 7+ years in public accounting with 2+ in management, and can navigate pass-through taxation and estate planning. Hybrid work with in-office days expected.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Minimum 7 years of public accounting experience with 2+ years in management.
• Strong background in C and S corporations, partnerships, and LLC taxation.
• Experience with pass-through entity taxation required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex individual, partnership, C-Corp, S-Corp, and LLC tax engagements.
• Support high-net-worth clients with estate, gift, and trust tax planning and compliance.
• Identify tax issues, business risks, and planning opportunities for diverse client groups.
• Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff, seniors, and managers.
• Communicate effectively with clients while overseeing workflows, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Utilize strong project management and analytical skills to ensure exceptional engagement execution.
