Job summary

Jobot is working with a growing Midwest CPA firm in Circleville seeking a Tax Senior to take ownership of client engagements and expand technical and advisory skills in a collaborative, client‑facing role.

You will prepare and review returns for individuals and businesses, conduct tax research, and participate in planning, mentoring, and business development. This is a hands‑on, growth‑oriented opportunity.

Qualifications

• CPA license or CPA eligibility strongly preferred.
• 2–4 years of public accounting tax experience.
• Strong technical knowledge across entity types.
• Excellent client communication and comfort with direct dialog.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and serve clients at a high level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and entities (partnerships, S-corps, C-corps).
• Research complex tax issues and communicate findings clearly to clients and management.
• Assist with tax planning and consulting engagements.
• Mentor and review work of junior staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and participate in business development.
