LegalZoom is seeking a Tax Senior to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for the preparation of ASC 740 quarterly and annual tax provisions, as well as coordinating with external tax advisors on consolidated federal and multi-state returns.

You will also assist with extensions, estimated payments, and tax research to ensure compliance with evolving regulations, while supporting AI-driven process improvements and ad hoc tax initiatives within a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Requires degree in accounting, finance, or related field with taxation coursework.
• CPA is preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of corporate taxation experience; some public accounting experience recommended.
• Experience with ASC 740 provisions and multi-state tax returns.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare ASC 740 quarterly and annual tax provisions and related memos.
• Prepare compliance schedules and coordinate with external tax advisors for consolidated federal and multi-state returns.
• Assist with extensions and estimated tax payments.
• Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with changing regulations.
• Support ad hoc tax projects, audits, notices, and company initiatives.
• Compile state apportionment schedules.
• Contribute to process automation and AI initiatives to improve efficiency.
