Lucas Horsfall, a growing CPA firm, seeks a Manager of Tax Resource Management to oversee daily tax department workflow, staff scheduling, and process efficiency during peak seasons and year-round engagements. Hybrid work from Pasadena, Encino, or Irvine offices is offered.

The role combines hands-on operational leadership with strategic planning to meet deadlines and capacity targets, reporting to department leadership and collaborating across tax service lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting required.
• 5+ years in operations, scheduling or practice management in a professional services setting.
• Experience managing projects and scheduling systems.
• Proficiency with major scheduling software and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Schedule staff across tax engagements and manage workload.
• Improve turnaround times and capacity planning across offices.
• Coordinate resource allocation with partners and directors.
• Prepare regular operating and utilization reports for leadership.
• Ensure deadlines and compliance across client workflows.
