Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown is seeking a Tax Manager in Houston, TX. You will lead engagements, supervise staff, and build client relationships while delivering accurate tax compliance and planning services.

You will review returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships and corporations, research complex tax issues, and oversee multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work arrangement included, with emphasis on client service excellence.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships and corporations.
• Research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities.
• Handle and resolve tax controversies.
• Oversee tax research projects for diverse clients and industries.
• Manage multiple engagements with teams to meet deadlines.
• Lead and mentor staff; contribute to training and development.
