Job summary

H. T. PROF Group in Troy, MI is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and planning for a diverse client base. You will review returns, advise peers, and act as a trusted client-facing advisor on tax and accounting matters.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, managing senior-level engagements, and coordinating with other teams to meet client needs. A CPA is strongly preferred, with a hybrid work model after onboarding.

• Help clients resolve practical bookkeeping/accounting issues that affect tax outcomes.
• Coordinate with assurance staff and other team members on overlapping client needs.
• Support clients across industries, with construction-industry experience considered a plus.
