Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks a seasoned Partner to lead the National Tax Office's M&A and tax transaction activities. You will oversee tax strategies, provide expert federal tax guidance, and collaborate across legal, financial and operational teams to optimize tax outcomes for clients.

You will mentor a team of tax professionals, foster innovation, and build lasting client relationships while driving strategic tax planning and deal structuring with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of tax experience with focus on M&A transactions.
• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree (JD/LLM/MBA/MST).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to present complex tax concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business objectives to optimize tax efficiency.
• Provide expert advice on federal income tax issues, including structuring and risk management.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and assess their impact on clients.
• Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to structure deals tax-efficiently.
• Provide strategic guidance on post-merger integration and restructuring to maximize tax benefits.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients for strategic tax planning and M&A advice.
• Conduct client meetings and presentations to articulate complex tax concepts clearly.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals and foster knowledge sharing.
