Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. seeks a Director of Tax Advisory Services to lead the TAS practice, directing growth, operations, and strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Advisory Leadership Team. You will oversee complex engagements and proactively develop tax strategies for high-net-worth clients and business owners.

You will mentor tax professionals, manage pricing and profitability, and participate in planning and resource allocation, while traveling as needed. Hybrid Philadelphia-based role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive tax experience.
• Expertise in partnerships, trusts, estates, and closely held structures.
• Ability to lead teams and mentor talent.
• Strong relationship-building and communication with owners, executives and high-net-worth clients.
• Commercial mindset; experience growing a tax advisory practice not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex tax engagements and proactive tax strategies.
• Mentor and develop tax professionals; build future leaders.
• Expand relationships and support business development and go-to-market initiatives.
• Oversee engagement pricing, realization, utilization, profitability, and operations.
• Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and risk management as part of Advisory Leadership Team.
