Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking a Systems Analyst in Austin to support Data Engineering and Data Governance work. Position requires deep Informatica experience and the ability to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and drive data quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Informatica tools (PowerCenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, Entity360).
• Experience establishing master and reference data for large organizations.
• Experience with Informatica MDM is preferred.
• 10+ years implementing data quality rules using Informatica DQ.
• 4+ years working with enterprise-scale data sets in Snowflake.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent work experience accepted).
• Masters degree or 6+ years experience in healthcare or public health is preferred.
• 2+ years experience with Python scripts for automation and API interaction.

Responsibilities

• Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, and perform cost/benefit analyses.
• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
• Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify programs.
• Review system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested changes.
