Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Physician Assistant licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Current certification as required for Physician Assistant practice.
• Meets Saint Vincent Hospital credentialing and privileging requirements.
• Appropriate clinical experience, preferably within surgery or an acute-care environment.
• Ability to work effectively with physicians, residents, fellows, students, administrators, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project-management skills.
• Ability to manage both clinical and administrative responsibilities within a hybrid role.

Aufgaben

• Provide physician assistant clinical services in support of the Department of Surgery.
• Participate in evaluation, management, and coordination of care for surgical patients within the PA’s approved scope.
• Support clinical operations and workflow of the surgical service.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, nursing, and other care team members.
• Assist in maintaining continuity and coordination of patient care across the surgical service.
• Provide clinical support to surgical residents and learners.
• Support the clinical learning environment for students and learners rotating through Surgery.
